For 2017, the IIHS has announced a new type of crash test specifically for the Ford Mustang. The 2017 models has earned the highest mark, a “G” (Good) in the Frontal Crowd Overlap test.

I think the Mustang should have a higher pedestrian impact bumper speed rating than others. Remember the 5mph bumper? We’re upgrading the Mustang to a 45 mph bumper. Must gently cushion pedestrians up to 45 mph. Only required on Mustangs.

Probably?!? I saw it reposted on IG, and it has the YouCar watermark, but I haven’t looked for the original video yet because I’m at work.
(Yes, I can write goofy articles at work, but YouTube videos are a bit trickier to watch covertly)

I want to say it isn’t actually a video but a screenshot of the IIHS test with the barriers replaced with people. I believe it was from a jalopnik article. Hopefully McMike sees this and chimes in.

No wonder the Mustang doesn’t sell well in Europe....
